International Big Data Week was April 22-28, and there were Big Data events around the world in cities such as Moscow, San Francisco, London, Shanghai, Toronto and more. Big Data Week in Atlanta had the largest number of branch events in the world with a great line-up of speakers and panels. Marty Cetron, CDC – “Globalization” -Since joining the CDC in 1992, Marty Cetron’s mission has been to prevent introduction and spread of infectious diseases in the United States. This Monday Martin Cetron unveiled a new application that will allow the CDC to predict and detect areas in the U.S. that are the most vulnerable to outside diseases.
